Thanks so much to those of you who have blessed us and who
rejoice with us on our 25th wedding anniversary (February 12th)!
| Humility, we have read, is giving others credit for the role they played in our accomplishments. Thank you for your prayers, sacrifice, friendship, and support of our entire family and our ministry. |
We intend to celebrate by setting aside time during this year to
remember and reflect on what God has done in these first twenty-five years of our marriage. We also intend to seek the Lord for guidance for our new phase, as children are now grown and we only have one homeschooler left.
One of the things we want to celebrate right now is the continuation of the groups that began in the fall both at
University of Miami and at Florida International University. All the groups, the Christian Legal Society, the Asian Scholars’ Bible studies for seekers, as well as the C.S.
Lewis/Mere Christianity discussion groups were able to re-organize this semester after much re-working of schedules.
There are many highlights we wish we had the space to recount here, but we’ll just give you the best news. We saw three students come to Christ (possibly four, but we are not pressing at this point). Three of these are Asian, and one is part of a C.S.
Lewis/Mere Christianity discussion group. We also have the blessing of another professor joining in ministry to the outstanding Chinese scholars at
University of Miami.
We are now looking forward to our fourth Colloquium on Faith and Scholarship
on March 4th with guest speaker Ken Myers of Mars Hills Audio. This colloquium
is organized each year by InterVarsity’s Graduate and Faculty Ministry staff
in the state of Florida in partnership with the Christian Study Center located on the campus of the
University of Florida in Gainesville. The theme this year is Knowing God, Knowing Creation

We are now praying and discussing the possibility for our own colloquium here in South Florida. We are trying to discern the Holy Spirit’s guidance both in his intent and the timing for such an endeavor.
We ask you to pray for an answer to this prayer.
We are all together privileged to participate with Christ in his work in South Florida.
