Our Mission
to be a redemptive influence on the university’s
people, ideas, and culture
The Mission Is
STRATEGIC
as we are discipling the leaders and future leaders of the university.
A
LONG-TERM commitment as a beginning graduate student is usually
six to twelve years from becoming a faculty member.
Challenging because the
culture of the university is secular and frequently hostile to the
Christian faith.
A Global one
as the brightest students from around the world study in US graduate
schools. Many students we serve return to high-ranking positions in
their home countries
Ministry Values
Spiritual Formation
We desire to be conformed to the image of Christ by cultivating habits
of regular prayer, rigorous Bible study, and other foundational
disciplines.
FAITH,
LEARNING, & PRACTICE
We
seek a unity of truth and practice through God, the creator of all.
The integrity of this pursuit will bare witness to the university
and professional world.
Evangelism & Service
We bear
witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ, recognizing the university’s
unique and often challenging culture.
CHRISTIAN
COMMUNITY
We
gather regularly to challenge and care for each other and to serve as a
welcoming place for both believers and seekers.
